Expression of Interest – Support Workers (On-Call & Shift Work)

Location: Berrimah, NT

We are seeking flexible and reliable Support Workers to join our team on an on-call basis, covering morning, day, afternoon, and night shifts.

This role involves providing quality support to individuals, including young people, in residential care. Applicants must be committed to promoting safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in a residential care setting
• Support daily living activities and routines
• Build positive, professional relationships with individuals and youth
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment
• Follow organisational policies and procedures at all times

Essential Requirements

• Current Ochre Card (NT Working with Children Clearance)
• Current National Police Check
• Certificate III (or higher) in Youth Work, Community Services, Support Work, or a related field
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport to travel to and from work
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach

Desirable

• Experience supporting youth or individuals in residential care
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours calmly and respectfully
