Electrical Capability Coordinator wanted!

Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Capability Coordinator for a temporary role for approx. 12 months.

  • AO5 pay scale
  • Nerang QLD location

In the role of Electrical Capability Coordinator (ITS & Electrical) you will coordinates technical capability activities across RoadTek electrical, ITS&E and civil electrical disciplines.

Duties include:

  • Coordinate technical training and competency activities that support safe electrical, ITS&E and civil electrical work across RoadTek operations.
  • Maintain training plans, competency records, learning resources and assessment evidence so capability requirements are clear, current and aligned with RoadTek procedures and technical requirements.
  • Support the ongoing delivery of civil electrical training including knowledge transfer, content maintenance and practical learning support.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance and competency support to apprentices, trainees, electrical workers, project managers and supervisors.
  • Contribute to Electrical Training Centre continuous improvement, including training schedules, competency pathways, technical guidance and succession planning for specialist capability.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Gold Coast based – not negotiable
  • Electrical Mechanic with a current, valid Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
  • Pay – AO5 (pay point dependant on the right person for the role)
  • Valid C class drivers licence

Desirable Requirements

  • Qualifications or demonstrated experience in workplace health and safety, auditing or incident investigation.
  • Experience delivering electrical safety training within civil construction, electrical construction or maintenance environments.
  • Experience conducting electrical safety and quality audits and supporting formal workplace investigations.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a current equivalent qualification acceptable for delivery and assessment of the required training.
