Position: Full-Time Permanent Support Worker
Location: Palmerston Region
Hourly Rate: $41.76
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will be providing essential care to an individual who requires 24/7 continuous support. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a high quality of life for the person in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and respectful personal care and support.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Manage medication administration as per the care plan.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behavior.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care.
Requirements:
- Cert III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care).
- Manual Handling certification.
- Medication Management certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
