Position: Full-Time Permanent Support Worker
Location: Palmerston Region
Hourly Rate: $41.76
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will be providing essential care to an individual who requires 24/7 continuous support. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a high quality of life for the person in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and respectful personal care and support.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
  • Manage medication administration as per the care plan.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behavior.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care.

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care).
  • Manual Handling certification.
  • Medication Management certification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
