AO6 Beef Extension Officer  

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking an AO6 Beef Extension Officer for a temporary role until 30^th June 2025.

• Cloncurry Location

Duties Include –

• Assist primary producers who have been impacted by an extraordinary disaster event (e.g. cyclone, flooding, storms, or bushfire) in medium-term recovery and to develop long-term resilience.
• Deliver coordinated recovery activities (focused training, field days and events) that support the animal husbandry and grazing land management needs of producers within an event-impacted area.
• Assist primary producers who have been impacted by an eligible disaster event to access referral pathways to available grants, loans, and programs to assist in business recovery and invasive species management.
• Support the development of industry-specific, on-farm, business resilience plans and provide links to technical advice on natural disaster recovery and resilience.
• Support the assessment of the impact of the disaster event on pasture and land conditions.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of agricultural production systems, agricultural extension, and/or farm business management.
• Ability to travel and undertake work remotely.
• Proven record of working independently.
• C Class Drivers Licence.
